Overview

In this role, you will be working from a remote office, calling on customers in the Energy sector and various segments such as solar power generation, wind turbines and energy utilities and providers. You will oversee growing business in these areas together with our team. You will be unearthing new opportunities and new customers, developing a new book of business in an existing and strong market for DEHN in the US. Your conversations with customers will be highly solution driven and solution sales focused. Understanding their requirements and issues, as well as the ability to speak their lingo is critical.

 

Your responsibility:

Sales Responsibility: Project Sales - Energy Sector

  • Educating customers about DEHN business solutions for surge and lightning protection.
  • Expanding business in e xisting accounts.
  • Closing customer contracts and gener ating new sales.
  • Analyzing customer needs and developing innovative solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy sector through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the energy sector to effectively position and differentiate our offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and define sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales metrics, pipeline, and forecasting to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven history of success in sales, preferably in the energy sector or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the energy industry, including energy markets, products, and services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience selling to the Energy and utilities sector.
  • Experience presenting to Engineers, Plant Managers and Owners/Operators.
  • Ability to tr avel up to 50%, including trade shows, customer visits and quarterly sales meetings.
